well i guess i just need techniques to get adjusted to drawing with tablet versus with pencil and paper....i mean what ive drawn is alright and looks much better than what i could do with a mouse....but im having a hard time looking at the screen instead of at my hand, and im very shaky so my lines turn out jiggly....T.T
Most of it just takes practice and getting used to. If you use it frequently for a couple days or so though, you'll soon adjust to it. Draw some doodles or sketches while you teach your hand to move where you want while looking at the screen.
Shaky lines can be helped by a few things. Try changing your brush size bigger or smaller and see if that helps anything. Zooming in closer to the image while you draw usually helps gives you smoother lines as well. Try to move your hand in swift, smooth grestures, rather than slow movements. You can also try working with a larger image size, and if you downsize it later for posting it online or whatever, sometimes the lines will be slightly blurred and end up looking more smoothed out.
