Well actually Santa Claus hates children, I found this out in Sam and Max Season 2: Episode 1. He explained it by saying that he picked the one job in the world where he would only have to deal with children for one night and added they aren't even allowed to see him; not only that he's been married for hundreds of years and never had any children! It makes perfect sense :3
