[Aconitum]

Acon linked arms with Ray as she began leading him down a small street in the opposite direction of the hotel. "So... Where to now? I'm sure a handsome catch like yourself has a lady you need to attend to, so I'm sure I don't have you very much longer right?"

Ray shook his head. "I don't have anyone waiting for me. I used to, but..." He looked downcast for a moment, before speaking. "Anyway, I thought you had a plan?"

[Aconitum]

Acon raised a thin brow before she pinched Ray's cheek. "Nope! Now, I'm curious. What was that look?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray sighed. "She left me soon after I got employed. She was just a trick to get me to work."

[Aconitum]

Acon's smile grew wider. "Details! Name, age, salary... Why'd she need ya to work? What was her purpose exactly?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shook his head. "I really don't want to talk about it."

[Aconitum]

Acon pouted. "Aww, come on, Ray~" She whined.

Ray sighed. "I used to work for a...a mob boss, I guess...had me do all sorts of stuff. Used this cat-chick...Jenivive...to woo me into joining up with him."   

[Aconitum]

Acon wiggled her eyebrows. "Ooh~ Jenivive. Did you love her? Did she love you? Were you two... In love?" She pried like an annoying child.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded. "I did love her. I don't know about her though." He sighed. "But, that was a good long while ago."

[Aconitum]

Acon bounced around from one foot to the other as she giggled like a school girl. "Do you still love her?"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shook his head. "Not anymore. She nearly cost me my life."

[Aconitum]

Sighing, Acon wrapped her arms around Ray's waist. "Aww. Well, I'm gonna almost cost you your life a thousand times, but you should know it's only cause I love you."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray blinked. "W-Well...that's different, 'cause I d-don't think she loved me."

[Aconitum]

"You ever try to kiss someone with a beak, Ray?" She asked, looking up at him.
