I stopped buying rubber boots about a decade or so ago, and to this day still do not own a pair. This because no matter what size I got, or the quality proposed by the brand, I would get a hole within two or three hours, rendering them useless in the wet climate I live in.

I'm very much a tactile learner. Someone can give me perfectly precise and easy to understand information or directions but I have trouble properly absorbing it. But when I am able to closely observe and play around with it, I get it down pretty quick much of the time.
