Clare chuckled. "Yes, sir!" she said, walking over to the drink table and setting the cups down.

Cif looked at the ceiling, thinking. "Huh... There are a few reasons, I suppose," she said, fluttering her large black wings. "For one thing, I can literally watch my weight so that I don't get too out of shape. Another reason would be so that I don't accidentally put my seatbelt over my belly button while I drive... Um..." The crat looked at Syn and blushed. "Also, well.... My species has some magic powers of sorts, and the greatest concentration of our magical aura is usually around the core. So a lot of us wear shirts like that to allow for a more solid connection to the earth."
