Grunan swallowed, "Sick son of a bitch." She mutters.

She goes back to maxwells blood, and tries to put a date on how old it was, knowing now he had been in hell.

"600 years? maybe 700." she mutters, Satisfied, she headed up to her room. She had preparations to make. If hell was leaking souls, that was of serious concern.

Maxwell raised his hood and made his way downstairs, peering into the living room and grinning as he saw Xander. Their similar appearance could be very useful before too long, of course, he'd need a change of clothes first. A robe is a bit too distinct in this day and age. Of course the boy could have other uses, if the connection was deeper than merely similar looks.


Xander had managed to fall asleep on the couch, he was snoring loudly. For once he was dreaming and it was pleasant, yet it felt... off for some reason.


Maxwell shook his head. He certainly hoped that child was in no way descended from him. Such a lazy creature. Utterly pathetic. He headed to the kitchen, he needed to eat.

Grunan enters her room. Blood... the bastard had used blood magic. Disolve blood spell? no, that could make it even worse. Simplest solution was usually the best. She prepares a protection spell. And fire. MAxwell could attempt to stick the blood to her, she would need a way to force it off. She readies a set of fire spells, going as far as making a fire resistance ritual.

Before any big fight, find out why. Invisibility spell. No, potions. More versatile, and she had some ready. Emergencies, she would need to have an escape plan. Invisibility, combined with a silence spell. Easy.

She spends some time readying her rituals...

Maxwell was in the middle of eating an apple as he ran possible scenarios in his head. What would the snake do. Attack him? Try to kill him? Then what if she succeeds? Does he crawl out of the afterlife once more? He didn't want to risk that not being the case. However, the idea of such a strange form of immortality did amuse him. Then again it would be such a nuisance to have to escape each time. He shook his head. He was letting his thoughts wander. He needed to be ready for the snake, or deal with them preemptively...

Grunan heads for maxwells room, and knocks on the door, slightly tense.

There was no answer, as Maxwell was not in his room. The door was left unlocked.


Maxwell grinned as he realised it was a good thing he hadn't changed yet and was still wearing leather armour under his robes. He reached for the blade he had at his side under his robe as well. What a lucky day for someone to pick a fight with him. Still he had zero interest in the fight, just that he wasn't planning on dying again all too soon.

"Err...do you want to wear one of these." Sierra asked blushing a little.

"Believe it or not... Yes," Cifero said, taking off his sweater and cut-off tank top. "I mean, I have them, so why not wear them? But first..." Running into the bathroom, the crat ran water for a few minutes, then came out with his bangs dyed a crimson red. "I never thought I'd be doing this again," he muttered, swapping his piercings out for ones that matched his bangs. He glanced in the mirror for a moment and smiled. "... My half-sister dyed her hair like this once."

"But I have never sang anything before...but I may have danced though." Sierra said getting really red.

[Angder]

Grunan heads into maxwell's room. "Blood..." She mutters, heading immediately for the fridge. She opens it, fully expecting it to be full of the stuff, at least Grunan could work out how many people this guy had hurt.

The fridge was surprisingly empty except for one small tube of blood. The trail of blood from earlier lead into the bathroom, it wasn't hard to guess that Maxwell went there to clean up.

"Just the bear then... good. Caught him early." she enters the bathroom, checking the cupboards in here as well. She constantly listens as she does this, in case she needs to turn invisible in a hurry.

Maxwell started to make his way back upstairs, reaching his room and realising the door was open. He decided not to open it further and head inside.

[Cifero Windtail]

"Err...do you want to wear one of these." Sierra asked blushing a little.

Cifero, who had been reminiscing about his half-sister, looked over his shoulder at Sierra. "You want to help too?" he asked, blushing darkly. "Um... Are... Are you a good dancer?"

Grunan hears something behind her, she dips back into a corner, and drinks the potion, hoping she had not already been seen.

There was a pause before Maxwell pushed the door open slowly and peered inside. Taking a cautious step into his apartment. He was already fed up with this.

Grunan holds her breath, listening. She had the silence spell ready... or she could jump him and go in for the kill. Right now she would have to play it by ear.
