"I have toughed out worse." Lennox said. Talia had fallen asleep in a chair with Reyela clinging to her.

[Angder]

Grunan wakes Talia. "You should probably leave. This is not the place for a child"

[Grovygrunge]

Xander looked up at Grunan. "Oh hey lizard wizard. You were gone a while."

[Tina]

"Huh...oh right." Talia quietly gets up and carries Reyela some where safe.

[Angder]

Grunan sighs. He leans down, and moves the bed to the centre of the room. He then draws a chalk circle around it on the floor, carefully drawing symbols round the outside. "I am glad I told the staff to give us some privacy, or this would probably get me kicked out"

Xander sat up, wanting to pay attention to what's going on. "Well then go ahead wizard man."

[Tina]

"Meh, I have been kicked out for worse reasons." Lennox says.

[Angder]

"This first ritual is just to check my suspicions are correct. this is a creature that is separate, but has... spliced... with you. Created from a mix of you and the beast."

Grunan finishes the circle, places candles down, He then turns to Xander. "If something goes wrong, you might need to step in, stop Lennox attacking me" Grunan grins. "should not be needed though." He then starts chanting quietly, a calm ritual that should give basic information on a creature possessing Lennox...

((BRB, got to take a bath. Just give me as much info as you like on Xonnel. Don't worry if it ruins the planned ritual, Grunan has a backup plan if his theory is wrong.))

[Tina]

As gruna did the ritual, he learned that Xonnel had existed long before any black blood was introduced into Lennox. As Lennox had said before,   xonnel was made up of a mix of all Lennox negative emotions and actually had a direct connection to Lennox soul. A quick look a Lennox's soul structure would show that almost half of his was gone, and what was there consisted of more negative parts than positive. The negative parts is where Xonnel manifested and to make things worse the black blood was enhancing the negative parts to try and overcome the posisitive.

In other words Xennol was using the black blood as a means to an end which was taking over Lennox. Xennol could not be gotten rid of, but it seemed taking care of the black blood would make it a lot easier to control him. There was also one more oddity, it seemed Lennox had another manifestation of his emotions, one made of nothing but positive feelings. However there were only small indications of this as that part of him seemed to be ripped out of him along with the other part of his soul.

(Super simple version. Xonnel is the little devil that sits on Lennox's should and tells him to do bad stuff. The angel that sits on his other shoulder telling him to do good stuff is no where to be seen, but has left small signs that it was there. The black blood is making the little devil stronger to the point where Lennox is forced to listen.)

[Angder]

Grunan is taken aback. "OK... so we are not looking at a piece being added... there is a piece missing? or maybe two rival intruders..." Grunan pauses. "How to proceed... I can't add a new bit, removing the old is unwise..." Grunan sighs. "I have to suppress it, that's my only option."

Grunan prepares the second ritual. "If this works it should cage the aspect, leaving it unable to act or take control, it could still talk, and is still a threat, but will have no physical influence... unless you have a better idea."

[Tina]

"Unfortunatly I have to live with your idea. I know where the other part is to my soul...but getting it back is out of the question." Talia poked her head in to make sure everything checked out."

(Would the ritual show where the missing piece of lennox soul is if it was close enough? I mean it's pretty much standing in the door way.)

[Angder]

((Only if Grunan thinks of it The idea of it being in someone else has not occurred to him yet.))

"Really? well if your sure... I am ready when you are... this could hurt possibly."

[Tina]

"I have seen very few ritual not end in any kind of pain so I am ready."

Grunan crouches down and starts the ritual, causing a ringing in lennox's ears as the spell starts to suppress Xonnel.

Xander watched, looking a little confused as he tried to follow what was happening.
