Geoff nodded. "I'm sure they will... I'll talk to you guys later."

He began heading back to his apartment.

"Hmm?" The question caught Alex off guard, as though breaking him from a momentary trance. "Ah, yes, yes I have. Although it seems rather counter-intuitive, I must say. I wasn't expecting them to simply all be open with the keys inside." Still, the buck simply shrugs... Turning to start heading into the building proper. "I have to ask, though... What apartment block has obstacle courses, firing ranges and training dummies? Just... What is this place?"

(I think we're in the past now, wasn't expecting an RL day to be an in universe day, so... Two days behind? No, one day. Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I'm still on the day of his arrival, think that's one behind. I'll skip up to present when I get the chance.)

Daisy walked along beside Alex, her hands in her pockets. "It's a very complex complex," she said, grinning a bit. "Most of the time, it's very welcoming to its inhabitants." The celestial wolf pointed at the training area. "Also, the area's right over there. Mind if I join you?"


Clare stayed asleep for now, blissfully unaware of Alka's decision.


Cassy slowly opened her eyes and looked down at Setcho. "... W... How's it look?" she murmured, still half asleep.

Alex couldn't help a grimace as the lupine went for the 'complex complex' line. A good thing he mostly had his back to her, then. "I'm... Sure it is. Every corner I turn, it seems to defy all expectation." As she points out a clear, padded space inside, however, the buck cocks an eyebrow, glancing back to her, as if to try and divine some intent. "Well... I was just looking around, I didn't... Plan on anything. What would you have in mind, anyway?"

((Yup. I no longer feel like Alka has a place in the apartments. I might keep him around until Geoff's eye problem gets solved, but after that, I'll most likely remove Alka from the list of people I control at the apartments))

((I've come to realise that the majority of characters here don't fancy a mind reader, being all keep to themselves. Which, I can understand. Coupled by the way I've limited his powers, it really doesn't make Alka much more of a fun or interesting OC to play. I mean, if I do think of a way I can make use of him, I'll keep him around for sure))

The wolf slowly but surely opened her eyes, leaving them at half mast as she looked up at Alka, flashing him a big grin. "Mmm... morning," she said, stretching out hugely and tightening her muscles a bit.
