Wishing to RP a strange request

I have this really sudden strange idea for an RP, but... I'm not sure anyone is interested. I kind of wanted an anthro-related RP taking place in somewhat of an Africa inspired place with a lot of animals, jungles, rivers and... oh yeah, and one big, fat, nasty hippopotamus.

...That's the main idea of this RP, a story where the main antagonist is a hippo. I don't mean an anthropomorphic one, I mean a normal one. Hey, if anything I just want to dispel those rumors that hippos are cuddly blobs of fun, but I think I could add some playful whimsey to the RP as well.

...So, I know it's a strange idea but... anyone want to try it?

I think I'm going to use my character Tripwire the giraffe, except a more normal version with an actual neck instead of a spring for a neck and normal clothing. Giraffe anthros aren't something you see everyday, huh? I actually cover a lot of animals.

Are these anthro alts you are bringing to the table or regular intellegent animals (lion king water ship down etc etc)

The main characters are anthro. It's mostly the hippo and any wildlife they find that's basically normal, though the hippo might have slightly abnormal intelligence.
