I have this really sudden strange idea for an RP, but... I'm not sure anyone is interested. I kind of wanted an anthro-related RP taking place in somewhat of an Africa inspired place with a lot of animals, jungles, rivers and... oh yeah, and one big, fat, nasty hippopotamus.
...That's the main idea of this RP, a story where the main antagonist is a hippo. I don't mean an anthropomorphic one, I mean a normal one. Hey, if anything I just want to dispel those rumors that hippos are cuddly blobs of fun, but I think I could add some playful whimsey to the RP as well.
...So, I know it's a strange idea but... anyone want to try it?

I think I'm going to use my character Tripwire the giraffe, except a more normal version with an actual neck instead of a spring for a neck and normal clothing. Giraffe anthros aren't something you see everyday, huh? I actually cover a lot of animals.

I remember having a jackal on a wildlife muck but players kind of dissapeared from it XD
Are these anthro alts you are bringing to the table or regular intellegent animals (lion king water ship down etc etc)

The main characters are anthro. It's mostly the hippo and any wildlife they find that's basically normal, though the hippo might have slightly abnormal intelligence.

Alright. I'll stick with Crest for now. Thanks for the thought.
By the way Crest, how do you want the RP to start? Do you just want our characters to be crashing out at their pad before they win a trip to Africa or something. Maybe you have an idea?

One: Our characters are tourists, which isn't exactly something I'd reccomend in real life.
Two: Unfortunately, characters are only allowed to use their hands, feet, and anything they find in the wild as their weapon. Hopefully this is okay with you.
Three: I was thinking sort of like an old Saturday Morning Cartoon sort of feel, so it will likely have a bit of whimsy, but won't be incredibly wacky. If you mean R-rated weirdness, I'd rather avoid it.

I'll settle for one if you want. I find it easier to RP 1X1 than with other people because then we can go at our own pace and we don't have to be on all day to keep up with other people's paces.
BTW, I already said what character I plan to use. Do you have a character you wish to use?

Meh, I'd rather just start the RP and make it a oneXone. As for how much I make in a post, it varies on the situation. If it requires a lot of text I'll write it, but I try not to over type.

Uhm can you give me a cs on your character that you will be using please. Besides it being a giraffe i don't know what you are. Don't worry I'll make one too. Get the name, age, gender personality, and backstory at least. You can add other things if you want to.

Personality: he is a very bombastic natured person. always joking always being weird it doesn't matter. despite this seeming flaw it's his best characteristic because when he isn't being random or weird he is very intelligent which leads him to be a arse. he games frequently and likes to experience new things very frequently.
Backstory: Kyle grew up in a military family meaning he moved around a lot. he never had any solid friendships or somewhere to call home. during that time he also had many different hobbies boy scouts, parkour, and video games are just the most notable ones that stuck with him. he followed his parents where ever they went till the age of 18 where he went to college and lived on his own. graduated he became what he always wanted to be a actor.

My character is based off one of my OCs. Originally he was a superhero with a giant coil for a neck. In this RP he's just a giraffe with a regular neck.
Name: Trevor Watson
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Species: Giraffe
Personality: He's a bit of a frantic creature. Whether he's happy or sad, he always acts like he had a few cups of coffee, and tends to exaggerate a bit. Still, he does try to help out quite a bit, and his nature is nice to have as an alley. He watches a lot of TV, and has learned to be quite resourceful due to what he's seen on television.
Backstory: Nothing too fancy. He had average grades in school, didn't have too many friends, and he ran away from home more than once. But eventually, he managed to move out. He first met Kyle at a pier near their current apartment. They became friends after Trevor managed to help him after a shark tried to eat him when they went swimming. ... (If that's alright with you.) ...Kyle likes to tease Trevor a lot.
