Well....I've known it was something, but I don't know what exactly.

Like I can hold it, but while I am I can't use anything electronic, because it ends up shorting out. When I'm not holding it everything is fine.

And I have tried to destroy it! I tried to throw it in a bonfire once, but all it did was shoot the fire at me *motions towards my burnt mark*

Last night I tried to cut it open and see what was inside.

*I walk over to my bed, and open my secret compatment, I then pull out a some kind of large blue hammer*

*dissapates, reforming and catching the ball before it hits the ground, and returns to Talia*

No, that was me taking a golden coin from whom apparently was a pirate. Like I said, some fight back pretty rough.

As for the gem...nothing happened. My pocket knife was too dull, so I gave up.

*sees the hammer*

Don't tell me you plan on using that hammer on the gem

Well, lets hope my tools are better...

*I move towards the Gem and prepare to strike it with the hammer*

*steps back to the edge of the room*

Hmm, interesting... the chip I put in it appeared to have vanished...

This hammer is magic-proof, it should be able to resist any amount of magic from that gem. 

*I Slam my hammer down on the gem*

  *BOOOM*

*I get thrown backwards, there is a burst of energy, and the Gem appears unharmed...*
