Same here except reverse, my computer doesnt like it (i tried going to an abandoned sandbox at 4 in the morning and going to max height and was still lagging all to heck )

I go on SL pretty regularly!

It is a bit of a pain starting out as it takes around 20 bucks or so to get an avatar and a few things for it (20 at most, it'll get you a fair amount of in-game money). Once you figure out the better things to buy like mesh and so on and get a feel for the quality of in-game items and so on, and how to use them, it is a lot easier. It's just a bit of a learning curve to start out with.

SL itself is a pretty resource intensive application, too, so a lot of low range computers crap themselves while running it. If you have a newer mid range computer or higher with decent graphics you should be able to run it just fine.

As for places to hang out furry-wise you really only have a selection of 18+ clubs apart from a few other places which tend to be empty (because, you know, give furries 3D avatars of themselves and you know...)

That is pretty much the usual reaction to it, haha. Open it up and try to do anything, "what even is this?" It's too complicated for new people I think.

I'm new to sl but I'm getting a new laptop since my other one broke but also just like time I had no clue what to do 0-0 also I was trying to make or buy a sergal abated but I had no money and really have no clue how to create one

I love the freedom of SL and especially the characters.
I do play a little, but i dont have manny to talk to.


I just usually hang out in one of the furry nightclubs listening to music x)


I do however have a furry cousin who plays and who has helped me get started.


I know nothing of creating objects nor texturing in the game.


It is very heavy for my computers, but i am going to buy a new one soon, and hope that will minimize the time it takes to load everything x3
