Acon looked at Ronnie with a raised brow. "What's the matter?"

Mag looked at the plush. "What's in... the box?" She once again wiped her eyes.

The plush shrugged. "What isn't in that box, is the real question. Pictures, letters, pieces of fabric. The list goes on."

[Long gone otter]

Mag sighed and looked through the pictures, finding one of her and Acon together. "I really love Acon... I don't know what I'll do without her, last time she left i... I..."

Ronnie sighed. "I feel kinda bad...f-for doing that.  I'm not sure what came over me."


Ray smiled. "T-That's why...I've come to make you an offer."

[Long gone otter]

Mag looked at Ray, sniffled and wiped her eyes. "An o-offer?"

Ray nodded, and climbed out of Mag's grasp, and onto the coffee table. "Y-Yes. I-If I...mm...c-can stay here, to watch the twins, I mean...I'll give you something..." He rubbed the back of his neck, sheepishly.

Mag sighed and thought for a moment. "I'll let you stay... What exactly is the 'something' that you'll be giving me?"

Ray rubbed his neck, and looked at the table, nervous. "W-Well...y-you know how you...wanted to have...children? W-With Acon?"

Mag blushed a little. "Y-yeah... What of it?"

Ray smiled lightly. "W-What if I gave you what you lack, for that task?"

[Long gone otter]

Mag's eyes widened. "Y-you could?" She looked slightly excited.

Ray nodded. "I-I could."

[Long gone otter]

Mag looked at the plush. "Umm... Could you excuse me for a second?" She picked Ray up, stood, walked in to the main bedroom and closed the door behind her. "Could you really do it?" She put Ray on the bed.

Ray nodded. "I can." He rolled up his sleeve, revealing the writhing tattoos on his arm. "Where I'm from, this is the mark of a manipulator."
