Yeah, hugging is one thing, but unless you know the suiter in question it might be best not to pet them.

Also, Fursuiting is NOT consenting to hugs or any other form of interaction.
He had all right to say no. Even if getting mad right away is a bit of an overreaction.

Yes I have to constantly fight the urge though to pet them at furcons. Especially the ones that are dogs or cats

Last year I was hugged for like 15 minutes by someone who smelled like "What's a shower?"

Does anyone know hatchet? I have no clue what his fursona is, other than hatchet, but he is a rather vulgar fellow.

Probably not. I don't know of his online presence. I just met him at AFC.
I walked out of his room and didn't even have my tail on anymore. I walk in, and he was like, "this is the first time I have ever touched a 15 year old's tail."
He smelled like he just gave someone a bj, and some even wierder stuff happens that I probably can't say here xD
Not on an illegal level, but I would assume that what he did would not be allowed at furcon.

Edit: by "his room" I mean his panel. Not his hotel room XD

Oh, the guy who hugged me got kicked out, fetched by the police and banned later on, because he did inapprorpiate things to a girl who had passed out at some room party.
