Yes, I listen mostly to metal,  the subgenres of Thrash Metal, Folk Metal, and  Death Metal.  I do listen to a bit of everything
(pop, rap, opera, alternative, holiday, and anything that catches my attention)

Metal, I somehow always managed to skirt metal. Lots of metalhead friends, a good friend of mine is in a metal band, but I somehow don't listen to so much metal!

For a short while in 2013  had the chance to play some Tama Drums, had to give it up when my friend moved out of the state.

Formed a band with a few friends a year or two ago, nothing ever came of it sadly (I think we met up once lol), I was gonna play the piano. Turns out that stuff takes so much organisation

(Tama is the name of the brand, the full large set of drums,  very large one in the middle, depending on the model, can have 10 or more around them, 2 or more cymbals, 3 or more pedals,  if you do enjoy music, I'm sure you seen them on really big popular named brands, easiest example  is the one that Lars Ulrich from Metalica uses, if it helps out.)

Yeah I used to be a metal head, listened to SOAD, iron maiden, then moved to Nu metal with like Linken Park, Three days grace and stuff, now my tastes have kinda gotten weird, with traidtional nordic folk and viking music.

Listen to Heilung, especially Krigsgaldr if you wanna hear some awesome tunes.

(I know I will, I'm also a big fan of Maiden too, some more recently mentioned, I listened to a song or two.  Most of my recent likes are with the subgenre called Folk Metal.  Where the bands use the traditional metal instruments of Bass, Electric Guitar, and Drums and the bands will usually use native instruments from where the band is from, lyrics are usually about the history and culture of where the band is from. Most time they sing in their native language.  I do have a bit of a 'pet peeve' with some bands though.  When a band from a non-English speaking country sings only in English, and not their native language.  I don't mind if they sing a few songs in English, but I prefer to hear them singing in their native language.  Usually Germany for me is the easiest example.  If I wanted to hear a band from Germany, want to hear them singing in German, not in English.  Accept and The scorpions are the easiest examples since both bands are from Germany but sing in English,  could be why I prefer Rammstein or Menhir as they sing in  German.  If I wanted to listen to music in English, I pick them from English speaking countries like USA, England, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.  Hopefully makes some sense. I know, I'm weird.  kind of a weird example, as I'm a fan of Korpiklaani, as I do like many of their English songs but I love their Finnish songs even more.)

Ooh - I always wanted to be a drummer. Ever since Sonic Underground aired on the telly, 1999 to 2001, was it? Manic the Hedgehog, he was a drummer. I never could find the time! These days, MSK issues, I don't think I could but i've still got rhythm!
Yes, I used to be in a band.. I shan't name it here. They'll find it on google search results!  but our stuff is still on BandCamp.. Wooh! I did a little bit of guitar, some ukulele, and ... We'll call it, 'ambient noise'. Yes, one of those bands!

One of my teachers was complaining about how kids these days don't make their own bands anymore so my friend decided to make their own country band. Its not a serious band but my friend is amazing it making joke songs so
