I'm glad I live alone, as I might seriously accidentally end up tackle-hugging someone to death out of pure happiness and joy and squeak randomly happy giggly gibberish at them as they slowly suffocate to death if they were to walk in right now.

Quite mistaken. :P

Or I dunno, perhaps this looks like a puzzle game to you.

And then also the pretty different HD trailer just for the sake of fairness, even tho I personally think the older one is better.

Hmmm, looks cool, yes. But still very Japanese'y...

Not that there's anything wrong with that, tho.

Especially since there are, indeed, little to no games that center around fully playable animals/ferals...

Hmmm, I wonder if a TLD mod where you have to survive as a wolf, against NPC survivors would take off...

And, also, forget about me not sharing with feeling happy!

Me and me m8's were just playing TF2 again, the whole time. Easy on at first, but just now, the three of us got into an empty server and the French cowboy accidentally arose from inside of me...

It was absolutely hilarious for all three of us to see how a team with flamethrowers, grenade launcher, shotguns, and sniper rifles, was completely chanceless against one measly spy with a revolver, wich happened to be me... XP

Yeah, the little guns are OP if you don't miss a single shot with them!

Ooh, My chest still hurts from laughing...

Little moments like those really make me appreciate the whole deal of having friends to play TF2 with, a lot more!

Yes, the art-style is Japanese, but that's because the game is loosely based on ancient Japanese folk tales/legends and because many critical game mechanics wouldn't really work in any other style.
It's not animu at all, because if it was, no amounts of wolf/other animal as the main characters could save it in my eyes.

And there already is a game centered around being a wolf and surviving as a wolf.
It's called Wolfquest.

Twilight Princess also allows you to play as a wolf.
I blame my love for feral furries on that game.
And also on Okami. Both were huge inspirations for me.
Yup.

Ehmmm, yes, I've seen wolf quest...

The visuals look worse than the stock textures on the Jackal HMV in arma 2, Wich has no textures...

Ofcourse, I'm not saying that doesn't make it a game. But, the fact that you just blindly assumed that I had never heard of it... Well... Let's just say, that you probably get my point! :P

I've played a little bit of "LiF" back in the day, though...

It's this really small, Java based, browser game where you can play on multiplayer maps as various animals that hunt / are hunted.

I wonder what happened to that game...

Fun fact, by the way...

5,833 words, and 32,719 characters have been spend on discussing vampires, and skyrim lore, in the past month... (And I may have spend a little more time than Id've liked to, to establish that number)

Anything more you wanna add to that? ;P

@Bricket

Oh, boy, whatsupp?

Don't let the politics eat you! D:

Oh don't worry, politics already digested me.
I'm mapping out the electoral results of '12 since next year it will be provincial elections and we're trying to get a break-through and now I'm looking where I can do this

Not assuming anything, tho considering that it used to only be available from some obscure "hurrdedurr save da woofs"-page it'd actually be a fair assumption to make that noone would've heard of it. :P
Besides, it's decent enough for what it is, an interactive educational tool meant to teach children/people about wolves. Probably had some pocket lint for a budget which is why it looks and runs like it does, but I'm pretty sure most kids still prefer getting to play a crappy game over having to read a book.

And yeah, I have a habit of just randomly scribbling down whatever's on my mind even if it's something that's only ever going to interest me. :P
Posting just for the sake of posting and alleviating my own boredom by writing long pointless texts that'd probably be much more fitting in a place specifically meant for that particular topic.
I don't expect people to bother to read or acknowledge my walls of text as they're just pointless ramblings about stuff most people understandably don't care about.
If someone do decide to entertain my rantings tho, I usually end up going on and on about the things for days on end until people start getting bored to death.
A viable strategy for winning this thread, I suppose.

For a game few people should've heard about Wolfquest does an awful lot of advertisement.
