Greatest moment in gaming
« on: March 14, 2014, 05:42:20 AM »
What is your greatest moment in gaming you ever have done. Ex: ones in gta 5 I started killing these two people in a desert, they jusr continued to come after me, I was only using a pistol mind you. The started to try and do drive-bys and I kept head shotting them, thento make matters worse I took one of their car and started running them over at the end I felt bad for them, but I came out a few thiusands richer. $$$

My most glorious moment was when I finally, after years of hard work, reached level 99 in the hunting skill in RuneScape..
People I knew who were also playing had been laughing at me ever since I started playing, because I was a girl, and because I didn't like PvP and combat like they did, but over time, they quit the game and I slowly crept past them all, both in skills and in wealth...
I was above them all, even after they'd told me I'd never make it out of Lumbridge... That I'd never be rich... That I'd never wield a Godsword..
That I'd never achieve anything.. I proved them all wrong, and it felt really nice..

And today, I get to laugh at them for laughing at me, while proudly showing off that I have no life :'P

Me and my clanmates were playing Battlefield 3 on Kharg Island. I was providing tank support while they were doing some mop-up. Well, out of nowhere this enemy jet comes out and starts shooting at them and me. My friend was always self-designated AA and couldn't take the damn thing down. So I patiently waited on the hill-top just down the road from the gas station, he flew perpendicular to the direction I was facing (the warehouse on the dock, which was just about where he was). I aimed the tank and took a pot-shot at him. I wasn't expecting it, but BOOM! My unguided straight up vanilla tank round connects and blows the jet out of the air who was flying across screen like a bat out of hell.

Playing my fresh copy of Titanfall, my team had lost the match and we were retreating in the Epilouge mode. The dropship was 15 seconds out and I was sprinting to the hot zone in a very wrecked Titan. With two hellbent enemy Altlases behind me, I knew I wasn't just going to hop right out to the ship. So, I spun around and let them Doom my Titan. Before the enemy could rip my vulnerable body out of the cockpit in a sweet animation, I mashed that X button and blasted upward in the force of my luckily equipped Nuclear Ejection. The blast engulfed my opponent while the dropship arrived at the pickup point. a simple course correction in mid-air guided me right to the ship, and I hopped in. Standing in the hull, I was able to light up another unlucky Pilot as he tried to attack my other teammates. The second Titan could only try in vain to shoot down the dropship as it jumped us away into the void of space.

You can watch this all on my Xbox Uploads if you want. I screamed "Xbox Record That!" maybe ten times at my Kinect bar.

When someone gave me $324,000,000 in GTA 5 online. I almost had a mini heart attack.

I don't even care if it was cheat money, I lived like a God for the next month and a half before I was thrown into the cheater's pool and started using the game disk as a coaster.

To this day I can say without a doubt that beating Dark Souls. It was like 3 in the morning... I think... I don't know I was on an adrenaline rush at this point. I just remember my body nearing it's limits I had be come obsessed with beating the game. I then became vengeful and I snapped the disk... No more about this game will be said by me.

I was playing Battlefield 4 for the first time, Rush, in Flood Zone, defender's side.

Still a total noob, I had just found out how my parachute worked, and as I was sailing down from the upper levels, a quad passed by underneath me. I turned, and right below me a enemy teammeber jumped of the quad and started hacking one of the few remaining cap points. So I grabbed my rocket launcher, while glidimg down on my parachute, knowing that I would never be able to just shoot the guy, and blew him to smithereens before he could hack the point.

Next thing, I land, and it seems that the entire enemy squad was after me. The enemy Commander probably thought me a goodguy for a High Value Target, and suddenly an entire squad of level 50 guys was heading my way.

I ran like hell, and just as I thought I was done for, with bullets exploding all around me l, the best thing ever happened: three guys, my squadmates, came sailing down on their parachutes as well, firing rockets into the enemy squad, obliterating it, and saving my skin!

Until this day, I am eternally grateful for their help, as they showed me that there is still teamplay in Battlefield, although I often cannot find it...

Playing counter strike: Source on a full 30 slot server.

Opposition team had completely wiped out my team, apart from me, and had set us up the bomb. Took out the whole opposition team and managed to defuse the bomb before it went off. De_dust ftw!

Back in 2008, I was playing Halo 2 LAN, me and another guy, versus 7 people. I used my teammate as a decoy and killed everyone, the ending score was 100 to 72.

Fire Warrior - the enemies were deaf for a minute, and it was glorious.

LAYOUT

I---O---I
I-o---o-I
I-------I
I---/\--I

O = Commissar
o = Guardsmen
/\ = Me

I throw a grenade in the center of the room between the Guardsmen and it goes off.

They die.

Here the room afterwards.

I---O---I
I-x---x-I
I-------I
I---/\--I

O = Commissar
x = Guardsmen (Dead)
/\ = Still me

Notice who didn't move?

THE COMMISSAR DIDN'T RESPOND TO AN EXPLOSION TWO FEET AWAY.

THIS IS WHAT MY FAVORITE GAME IS LIKE, FOLKS.

This may not be the greatest, but it was pretty cool.

I was playing Jet Set Radio, had two choppers after me. I get a lot of momentum going and grind across the top of this big weird structure, jump off, and spray my logo on both choppers in the same jump! :D
