life style or hobby
« on: September 02, 2012, 06:52:45 PM »
So there is a lot of controversy ,or at least i think so, over the topic "Is be a furry a life style or just hobby". Well let me first start by saying I'm not going to say which one is right i'm just going to tell my opinion. Now in my opinion being furry is a life style or at least for me it is. When i meet some one new one of the first things i ask them is if they know what a furry is. I see it a so much more than a hobby like i classify my self as a furry it is part of me in more ways then a simple hobby ever could be. I know a lot of people feel the same as me and i know a lot of people don't. I would like to hear everyone's take on the topic.

It's just a normal hobby to me like anything else in this world. But I also like to embrace it as a way of expressing myself in artistic ways and whatnot. I also love the fandom because of how friendly and understanding most furs are that I've met.

I guess I would be closer to the lifestyle side of things  ^_^ . I view furries as a subculture one of many to which I belong  ;) .
A monoculture never thrives :3

Being a furry is part of my life, but not a lifestyle. To me it's somewhat of a hobby, as well as way to express my deep connection towards foxes and other animals. And some other things.
