well, my last question wasnt answered for some reason..so...repeat :P

Would you ever give up life here on earth to live on a space ship (rather large, assume a small community) that travels at near light speeds exploring the universe? Keep in mind, you would likely be forever separated from your current family, friends, and known society. Also take into account time dilation from the speeds.

That's an interesting question. On the one hand I'm in love with space and would love to see just a glimpse of what is really out there. However, it would be a very small glimpse. Our short life spans wouldn't allow us to see much other than what is in our immediate area. Also, I love my family and would need a huge motivator or family of my own before I cut off all connections to my current family. So I'll stick with staying earthbound for the time being.

Most meaningful thing in my life is friendship. Without someone to talk to, I would be lost. They can provide anything you need. A hand to hold, company, conversation, silence, adventure. However I think it all boils down to happiness. Heres a short excerpt from something im writing that I felt related to this if your interested
