she shakes her head no* I had trouble early on, they went off in the other direction. I have got a surprise for you though. *Kaya smiles and takes off her boot and hands Danny the wad of cash* thats about 4,000 dollars.

faloth's wings were coming along rather nicely, at this rate he would be able to escape before his master returned. *faloth fitted the left wing to his shoulder blade, making sure it fit tight and secure* "there's not enough time... i dare not take the chance..." *faloth sighed and puts the wing in a hidden panel under the window, gazing out again as he pulled down his goggles* "tomorrow, tomorrow for sure"

Danny shook her head.  "Keep it.  You'll need it.  Right now, we're just waiting for the last people to join us."

No you need it more.. I can't do much otherthan man the computers and suply cash. You can find some use for it.

"It'd seem strange we had it.  If you really want to want to help though, follow me."  She started down a tunnel, heading toward the hundred or so gathered in the bunker.

A large room lay at the end of the tunnel, slaves milling around.  Lanterns illuminated the area, casting shadows where they didn't quite reach.  most of the occupants were tiny and starved, walking skeletons.  Danny gave whistle. "Gather to the back my friends!"

they all follow after danny and was appaled at how skinny everyone was. it made her extreemly gratefull that her master fed her well.* "Coming right behind you Danny" *Kaya calls.*

sigma paced around the kitchen waiting for the milk to stop boiling.
i wonder when kaya will return... he thought. it was like this most of the time. in the night or evening she would slip off for dinner while he stayed at the house fixing food for his master. obviously she was his favorite, or maybe he valued sigma more.
once the milk came to a boil he turned off the stove and added the chocolate mix sturring it carefully with the wisp. after it desolved he poured it into a cup and then carried it to his master.
//here we are master// sigma said quietly. talking was not something that he frequented unless alone or had to comunicate with his master.
//you can go eat now// alen said waving sigma off.
//thank you master// he said politely. then turning back to the kitchen he fixed himself a bowl of broth and chicken and went to the room that he and kaya shared.

looking out the window he saw a jeep, making rounds around the houses. some times going from door to door.
//hunter// sigma wispered under his breath. looking up he saw the tile on the ceiling that was slightly moved. opeing it he withdrew a book and began to read.
//hope she makes it home okay// he said going back to the window.
//sigma!// alen called up the stairs. running down the stairs and meeting him at the base of the stairs.
//yes master?// sigma asked.
//dishes// he demanded pointing at the kitchen

//yes master// with that sigma slowly walked to the kitchen to fullfill his duties. picking up the rag and adding soap to it.
please hurry kaya, sigma thought pausing to asses the amout of work that would have to be done.

Danny headed to the middle of the room, carrying her things.  "First off.  Does everyone know of the "Games"?

Kaya duefully nods* yes.... I know of the games..

after finishing the dishes sigma went back up the stairs to bring down his dishes. noticing the book he quickly hid it back in the cieling tile hoping alen had'nt saw.

Alen walks up after sigma* Where did you get that book from?
