Is it weird to have multiple fursonas?
« on: October 18, 2011, 07:26:58 AM »
Hi I'm Ziaki and sort of a closet furry. My boyfriend knows but I don't think he really understands the depth of my fandom.

But in anycase I've been fascinated by anthros and anthro art ever since I stumbled upon Goldenwolfen aka Christy Grandjean. When I found her I began developing my own characters.

My very first and very near and dear to my hear is Silver Rain - wolf / gryphon hybrid
He represents my strength and determination.

Lol this drawing is terrible but I drew it in like 9th grade >_<

Next is his sister Serenity. I don't have any art of her but she's a mostly black wolf with some silver. She represents my bitter dark side.

Then there's Niaku. She represents my motherly caring generous side. Shown in this really really old art without wings.

Then there is Enigma. She represents my spiritual side. Again some really old artwork from when I just started learning to draw. I really need to redraw these characters.

They are all very special to me and they all represent a part of me but I feel like I should have one fursona and stick to it. I'm just not sure how to go about that. I don't want to abandon my old alter egos but I also feel like I need just one good one that represents all my emotions and feelings.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to Ziaki. Ziaki is my handle now for the past 3 years for most things including World of Warcraft and I know more people that call me Ziaki than by my real name.

Here is a line art coloring I did of her. The line art is NOT mine but the coloring is.

I've pretty much decided that this is who I want to be but the persona just seems so undeveloped.
I even made a yarn tail to match her but I didn't really like the way it turned out so I gave it to a friend for her birthday.

And I'm also not convinced I like the fire theme for her either. I really do miss the silvery blue colors that Silver Rain and Niaku have but I'm not sure those fit the Ziaki Persona.

Anywho. That's me and my fursona crisis. Nice to meet all of you. :D

Hey there, welcome to the forums.
It's not unusual at all to have more than one fursona, most do.
You don't have to narrow it down to only one either if you don't want to, there's not exactly a set of rules set in stone about the thing, just do whatever makes you happy.
Anyway, hope you enjoy your stay.

Well welcome Zaiki to our forums. Its not odd at all to have multiple fursonas. I for instance have 5, 1 being myself, and the other 4 for roleplay purposes.

What's your favorite color? :3

Welcome to the forum Ziaki!
Multiple fursonas isn't very weird as far as I know.. Myself I have 3 characthers, but I only really focus on one, which is the one I call my fursona.
