Laurel & Hardy. Just say their names, see their faces, and they smile!  :)  This thread talks about the famous duo and if you're a fan yourself, talk about it here! To get the ball rolling, here's their biography (in brief!):

1892: Oliver (originally Norville) Hardy born in Harlem, Georgia, USA.
WW1: Ollie tries to enlist but was rejected by the US Army due to his weight.
1917: Stan and Ollie appear in their first film together, Lucky Dog, but temporarily return to acting solo.
1926: Stan and Ollie reunite at Hal Roach Studios to become Laurel & Hardy.
1929: Unaccustomed As We Are, the duo's first sound film released.
1931: Pardon Us, Stan and Ollie's first full-length feature film released.
1940: Stan and Ollie finish working for Hal Roach.
1950: Atoll K, the duo's last film together released.

while I'm more of an abbot and costello fan, Laurel and hardy are quite good in their own right. I saw one where they joined the french army in the desert and laughed out loud
