I really like Zephyr's answer, but I'd still bail on both of them and do some soul searching. Though that doesn't sound like it would go well with the plot.

the main character falls in love with a man..and a little later when she is together with the other she falls for him to.
 
both the males have had feelings for her for a very long time
 

Ahhn, my apologies, I misread.
Hnn, I guess in that situation I'd just pick whoever had the most promise in terms of a long term relationship. No sense in throwing away a friendship for a fling.
