Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Out of all the First Person Shooters I play, this has to be my absolute favorite. I'm having an ongoing love affair with the multiplayer. And when it comes to sniping, in this game, I'm that guy. 

Anyone else play this game?

well, ive never played the multiplayer cause the servers were down when I got the game finally.  But I absolutely loved the campaign

I'm on the 360. And yeah, BC2 has my favorite sniping mechanics out of any game ever. I think my record for distance is a 355 point marksman bonus.  And then there was the time that a couple snipers tried to counter snipe me. I killed the first one, then killed the second one just as the first one respawns, and then killed the first one again. I fired my gun three times, they fired theirs a total of five. Yeah, I don't get counter sniped.

GAH!! I have a PS3, so we can't play

And, no, I'm not that good at sniping. My best marksman bonus was about 155 or something like that. And I get counter sniped. A lot.

Though I'm really good with the engineer class. And with shotguns. I own with shotguns.

I've never actually used the PP 2000 very much. Just enough to get the bronze star with it for the all weapon bronze star medal.

Speaking of sniping, I can't stand the Sniper rifles in the Vietnam expansion! I just recently got the achievement for getting Gold Stars with all primary Vietnam weapons, and the sniper weapons were easily the most painful. Primarily because the reticles have no dots on them, so it's almost impossible to remember how high you need to aim for a particular distance. Once I finally got the achievement and went back to normal multiplayer, I whipped out my M95 SA(12x Scope, Magnum Ammo), and started popping off Marksman Headshots left and right.

God it feels good to be home...

Now in all seriousness/fairness, I popped that shot on another sniper who was attempting to drop a mortar strike on a couple of my squadies. My typical MH's are in the 100-200 point ranges, and usually are on snipers and campers trying to give their sqaudies a forward spawn point. Rarely do I even attempt them on moving targets, though I have pulled them off in the past. And ironically enough, the only time I've ever sniped the pilot out of a chopper was with the M40 in Vietnam.

I have a sort of love-hate relationship with BC2. It's generally a fun game to play but there are times when I get annoyed with other player's tactics. Like earlier today when I was playing a rush match, we were attacking and the defenders decided to spawn camp us with a couple of tanks and a helicopter. I was lucky if I even made it 5 feet from my spawn point before being blown up.

But over all I like it. I still wanna play onslaught mode but none of my friends have it downloaded yet. You'll usually find me running around as a Medic or Recon with an M14 or my GOL Magnum.
