real furries???

 My friends have been on my nerves about me being a furry, even though they're both furries. They say im not a furry becauae I don't draw them? Im pretty sure I don't have 2 them, just as long as I have my fursona set in  my mind, and I really want to be one, but they've been tolling me more and more bc of my fursona pic, because I did after all get him from a  generated website, but ideally that's what I wanted him 2 look like anyway. At school and pc, they tell me to get rid of my fursona pic, and that I'm not a real furry, so i just want to ask, is it wrong that he is generated and I should really be drawing furries to "be" 1?

no. A furry is someone who likes anthropormorphic animals. You dont have to draw them if you dont want. If you want one from a generator website, thats your choice. Granted, some people take it a little more seriously (me) but thats entirely up to you if you want to.

I'm not an artist and my sonas' stories can't seem to come out right when i try to type them, but i still consider myself a furry, and thats what's important, if you think your a furry then you are one. Don't let anyone detour you for that minor bit.

There isn't a set of rules to join the fandom, you just have to enjoy anthro animals in one way or another, it matters not wether you choose to draw them or not.

No you don't need to draw in order to be a fur, next time tell them to google it, if they don't know.

I can't draw to save my life, or at least not to my satisfaction. I can't make fursuits either. For your friends to say you're not furry just because you don't draw them is just stupid. Like others have said, there are no real hard and fast rules or qualifications to be furry. If you consider yourself one, you are one.

furrys are any one who likes antro, so your a furry. you dont need to draw them to be one, i like to draw them but that dosnt make me any more or any less of a furry then any one else. but for me beeing a furry is as deep as my sole iam a thrian ( a animal spirit in a human body ) but thats a hole differnt topic.

if yoy wanted one that came from a web site then that what you wanted . some furs do request see if you can find one if you want.

The only requirement to being a furry is to consider yourself one.  Don't listen to them.  They're trying to define the fandom based on their values, and their own preferences.
