Got my first check from my new job.

Went gold panning yesterday. Found some gold too. That was fun.

It also amuses me that we're high up above the arctic circle now, yet a surprising amount of people speak Swedish.

I also finally beat RNGesus into submission the other day, so now I'm finally at Real Platinum God.
The game gave me a pop-up stating "Now stop playing!"
Edmund, please never change.

Also went to a zoo the day before that. One of the ravens there flew up and sat down right in front of me by the fence. Also got to see the only polar bears in the whole country.

And today, we're going to try and see if we could get to that amethyst mine I wanted to go to.
The view from up there was really nice iirc, and you get to keep one amethyst if you find one.

But there's a con coming up in my city this weekend and I'm excited to go. I haven't gone in years and it will be my first time cosplaying so as long as I finish my outfit in time that will be nice, too. There's a furry meetup scheduled there too so I may pop in to see what some of the local fandom is like.

^Just got back from the mine. It was just as amazing as I remembered it.

And not only did I find an amethyst, it was pretty big one, and a so called "Shaman's stone"
(That's a rock that's got three different colors in it. They're somewhat rare-ish.)
Also found some smoky quartz and ordinary smaller amethysts.

In short, today was a really really good day.

I start College this Friday! This is going to be my first art class that I'm learning something, and I have another art class as well! They're both like four hours long though (A bit too long maybe, depending on what we're doing. And I'm probably not going to be allowed to listen to my own music... Watch me say this and the art teacher doesn't even bat an eye at anyone using headphones.) ! It's going to be great. And there's new people to meet and befriend. And hopefully art rivals, but on the other hand I do want to kick but. I'm a bit anxious, but I can't wait to go to college. (And there's a game making club as well! It's going to be awesome! {With access to a rather powerful computer, Maya, Unreal Engine e.t.c}.) And I don't have to toil over four hours of honor's math homework!

I'm currently taking my third semester of ceramics (though technically I'm retaking Ceramics 2 this fall since my school doesn't have a Ceramics 3). There's an open studio on Fridays so sometimes I go in to work when no one else is there, it's quiet and I can listen to music on my phone. It's nice I haven't taken any other art classes at my college but I'm currently in Stagecraft which will entail set-building and some wood shop stuff so that should be interesting.

Well, I am quite impressed with myself. I fully expected to have to stay up all night to complete all my college assignments. I am absolutely on fire. Only a little left and done. I'm gonna get a full night's sleep tonight. DMV is apparently closed Monday, so I have to take the driving test today instead. I'm on fire and will be fully rested. It'll be a perfect day to take the test and start my first ever job. 
Also found some great music on YouTube. I'll skip posting any links though because it's highly political.

Usually a good day collapses. There is one exception to the rule, when I feel like I'm on fire. Like this. *howls*

I woke up to my cat sleeping next to me in bed. This may not seem to special some but it is to me. She hasn't been doing to well but this is a good sign. And I've just missed her because she's always locked away in my brother's room to protect her from the dogs.

I'm so excited. I got the job! I'm just really nervous I'll mess up but hopefully it will all turn out ok.

I think I'm finally understanding the route of my anxiety. (Which is a good thing.) Today I went out with a friend to the local mall. (Since it's New Jersey it's a rather large and always crowded one.) I was alone for some time, before meeting my friend there. And I was walking through the mall in anxiety, and I've come to realize it's the huge amount of people that I don't know in one secluded area. That's what kept making me so anxious. Now I know how to avoid situations like those. I was able to spend time with my friend afterwards, and finally I got a pair of suspenders from Hot Topics. (A red one and a black one.) I plan on wearing the red one tomorrow ^.^ A bit embarrassing since I never wore one before and it's not a common accessory, as well as the fact that I'm trying to rock it in a more casual way. Planning on wearing basic jeans and shirt tomorrow.

I'm so excited. I got the job! I'm just really nervous I'll mess up but hopefully it will all turn out ok.

Congrats. Just got back from my first shift at my first ever job. It is perfectly acceptable to mess up, especially when learning. Found that out today.

That's my positive rant too, first shift at first job ever went pretty good.
