Not to mention how in the beginning of the Dark Knight he was like a joke arrest. It would be a challenge, but I don't think it would be any less challenging than Bane. >>

Yeah, Scarecrow definitely got the short end of the stick, but it does kind of make sense since he had to share a film with Ra's al Ghul.  :/

As for Two-Face, Christopher Nolan has said repeatedly that the character died at the end of TDK, and given the characters that have been confirmed for TDKR, I feel it's safe to say we've seen all we will of Nolan's Two-Face. I was a little let down by how little screen time Two-Face got once he actually became Two-Face, but that's primarily because I don't feel the audience got enough time to appreciate the incredible effects that created his second face.

The villain discussion for Nolan's Batman films have always been interesting to me, because a very great deal of Batman's villains are automatically ruled out by the way Nolan has built the world of the films. And then there's the universal truth of comic-to-film adaptations that some comic villains just don't work well in a film. To make an A-list comic film, you need to use an A-list villain. With Batman, that's (to the best of my knowledge) The Joker, Ra's al Ghul, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Catwoman, Bane, Mr. Freeze, and Poison Ivy. Two of those are automatically ruled out based on the rules of realism in Nolan's universe, and four of them have already been used. So ironically enough, the only two A list villains left to use are the two that Nolan is using in The Dark Knight Rises. :P

First set photo of The Dark Knight Rises, from the shoot in India. It's basically a green screen in a pool. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=77280

For my money, since Talia al Ghul is suspected to be in this movie, and we KNOW that Bane is the villain, I'm gonna go into full blown conspiracy mode. :P

My theory: That green screen is in place so they can add in the Lazarus Pit, which Talia takes Batman to after Bane breaks his back so he can go back to Gotham and save the day. Added bonus, since Batman does marry Talia in the comics and has a son with her, it's plausible that she would be Batman's love interest in this film. Provided of course, she actually is in the film. The going theory is that she is, and Marion Collitard is playing her. Though the character Marion is playing is called "Miranda Tate", Marion has previously worked with Nolan on Inception, and I highly doubt Nolan would bring her on to this picture for an insignificant role.
