Chrono, you can't just kill the dragon just like that. You're the size of its toenail and its scales are even stronger than magic. No F-ing way you can even cut it up by yourself.

I thought dragons had talons, which are not all that small in comparison to the neck depth-wise.

The magic will for a rune around the weapon and make it stronger and more durable. However, if the mage dies or gets separated too far from the weapon and/or weapon user, the runes disappear.

if you can steal them from a dead body, though i really doubt everyone's gonna carry one, i'm sure someone who died in the arena will have one to "lend" to you.
