That's another thing. Why is the monthly goal so high ($250). I'd think that the only things you'd have to pay for was a web-server and possibly an IRC server and that's about it.

Weird, a web-server that can support about 100 users online at one moment usually only costs about $30-40 a month. But, if Tweaks calculations are correct, that means he is paying the total of $250 a month (which makes sense.)

I might ask him directly why the web-server needs to cost so much. Unless you think he wouldn't be bothered explaining it to me :3

The forum itself isn't the only thing running on the server. Yeah, there are cheaper servers out there, but for the support, reliability, and abilities we have, it's not unreasonable.

Well yeah of course :P

But if we are getting into financial issues, we might have  to sacrifice that at one point.

It's not necessary now :P but if you ever need it I'd be happy to browse around and get you some quotes and reviews for trusted dedicated server hosters :3
