Suddenly, I'm completely mindblown by the realisation of how strongly diffirent the "laws of physics" in videogames are to our own.
Like, when you push the brakes on an irl aircraft the gripping point of that force is below the center of mass causing a tipping moment that rolls the aircraft forward, putting a force on the nose gear that compresses the dampener and lets it rock forward.
In a videogame that force doesn't exist, in the end it's just a line of code telling that dampener to move to that specific position.
Thinking about that just now completely astounds me.
