Isn't √(-1 + 5) incorrect, because it's actually supposed to be solved by both numbers in hooks beng multiplied by the "√", wich is impossible, because "√-1" is a non-real answer?

No, look. According to maths, everything needs to be solved in a specific order. First comes everything between hooks, if you can. And in this case you can, so you just get a normal number you can work with. If you want to do it how you would do it, you're going to need imaginary numbers which is an area of math on it's own.

Yeah, and according to that specific order, things in hooks had to be solved first, and if I wasn't mistaken, this was done by multiplying it by the root that was put besides it.

Oh, wait. Unless that's only nececcary if there's an unknown value between the hooks... Yes, that makes sense now... :\
