Swedish version of Bridget. Gaelic/Irish origin.
Apparently it means Strength/Virtue/Power.
But (at least around here) only old people are named Birgitta >->' (Which is only a temporary problem anyway. And there's really nothing wrong with the name, I just don't think it fits me. That said, it's going to be fun to grow old and end up at the elderly home together with someone named Ninja or some similar "modern" name that's going to seem really strange for an elderly person xP)


Oh, and saints.
