You know when birds are really annoying?

When you have a traditional wooden stove as a heater. And a bird ends up inside of it. (No, not when there's a fire in it)

Because when you open it to let the bird out it flies around like crazy and spreads soot and ashes from the stove all over your living room...

Wooden stove as in wood burns in it right? Because having fire in a wooden thing doesn't seem smart XD

The lens of your eyes are filled with vitreous humor, not tears.
Vitreous fluid contains enzymes that protect your eyes from harmful substances, not react with them.
If you get coal dust in your eyes, it's going to irritate them because it's dust, not because it's sulfuric acid.  :)

As a note, if the reaction was truly that violent, we would have stopped mining centuries ago.

You're likely right here.

I'm in a nautical study, not biology.

But in cargo safety class I've heard that coal as bulk cargo can not only cause fire hazard/suffocation/Serious stability hazard, but, if I remember correctly, when it gets wet the sulphuric acid comic out of it could actually damage the ships stuff.

Reading that out loud now makes it sound a little over-the-top dangerous, Soo, I guess I'll ask...

@helleye, Albie, Firox

I recently tried to draw a dog out of boredom, the result folded me for about 5 minutes before I'd decided never to do it again...

Sure, if it reacts with whatever kinds of acids that rainwater or seawater is contaminated with, it can cause a reaction. Or possibly even deionized water. But not bodily fluid.

I'm a nerd.

How is everyone doing tonight?

I am rather far from superb...

I just found out my third name, Simon, Wich I use on the internet a lot because my actual name is just too Dutch to not be oddballed at by english speakers, Is from a Hebrew origin....

I'm not really shure if I can properly explain why that bothers me soo much...

But what it pretty much boils down to is that I believe a names origin is quite important for symbolic means. And I simply don't like jews / Hebrews. It's nothing personal, but they're just too controversial...

But on the other hand, as a Simon I was named after my grandfather, who's quite a chill man. And my parents probebly never knew it was of Hebrew origin.

Soo, to conclude I guess I should just stop being a bloody wuss, for god's sake...

And, there! 742 characters wasted...

Just in case you're curious...

My first name is Wietse, Wich is Frysch, Imagine Holland's Scotland, complete with overabundand farmlands, Arguably atractive woman, and a completely incomprehensible dialect. It means Warrior / Forest.

My second name is Ton, from my mother's father, Wich a Dutch, derived from the saint Antonius.

And then Simon, From my Father's dad, Wich means listener... And is Hebrew, Wich I Should stop bloody nagging about, is what I should...

Kinga is quite a cool name, by the way... The Polish seem chill!

At least you have more interesting names than me.

First name: Thomas, Hebrew for twin. Fittingly, I have a twin brother and my zodiac sign is Gemini, the twins.
Middle names: Hefin, the Welsh word for Summer, and Wilbur, derived from "Wildbor", meaning Wild Boar.

But online, I'm Ezra, meaning Help in Hebrew.

My first name is Maciej and I have no clue about the origin. Second can be translated to Michael so it's nothing new. Fancy third names you have there. I don't.

Maciej is the Polish variant on "Matthew", which means "gift of Yahweh", with Yahweh being the name of God in Hebrew. Interesting.

We all have Hebrew names, some more than other...

I see we all have controversiality to run from...

And I also see, we're having this conversation in a furry forum!

Oh, Speak of the devil in the details!

I bet these chill Hebrews as well...

I think I looked Matthew up online and got a different name in polish... Didn't dig deeper. I blame faulty name site!
Also I have no clue what you both have against Hebrew names it's a language like any other.
Okay never mind that, I for almost no reason really dislike German. Carry on.
