I hate GIMP xD
I had to use it once when my Photoshop crashed. I was 15-30 minutes away from finishing a piece, and then I had to work with GIMP. Let's just summarise it to... working 3-4 hours on figuring out how that works which should have just taken 15-30 minutes xD

Ah well you see, Photoshop has a huge downside... It costs money and I'm not doing normal drawing, i don't even have a graphical tablet. Thinking about it, I barely use the mouse good luck with Photoshop on a touchpad.

I didn't use to draw in photoshop with a tablet, I started somewhere x3
I used to draw, make a scan, colour it with the mouse in Photoshop.

Anyone can draw. Even if they have no hands or arms or even feet or legs. You can draw with your mouth if you don't have anything else to draw with, holding a pencil or paintbrush between your teeth.
If you're talking about skill, that is something you learn and build-up on As for talent? That just means some people are quicker on picking certain things up in certain fields, but that doesn't mean others are 'bad' at drawing or even 'can't' draw.

One of the main reasons my drawings have improved is because of the art book. It really helped a lot, it's a bit crazy. I'm busy on a few trees right now, and those should help to put the focus to the sword a little bit. It's tough, but it'll be worth it if I can get it done.

HellEye, even elephants can make art.

Maybe not high quality, but they understand what they're supposed to do.

Oh I can make a couple random lines like that too it's no better than modern art. In fact, says a lot about modern art since it looks literally like something an elephant could make

A lot of Modern Artists 'just do' ratehr than actually making something ^^ And no, it's not a joke, some even admitted to that, some famous ones too!

Art books helped me too in the beginning, I still have them too!
