I did something much simpler than that. For the book assignments the anwser were in the back of the book. For tye test I simply acquired a test beforehand and wrote the answers on several pencils

To be fair, everyone I knew did the same thing. You don't have time to remember anything with 5 other classes going on that are just as if not more demanding than one math class.
