Their just blind to it. I'm gonna push for a new doctor anyway, because my current one doesn't really seem to care.
Maybe if I get a new doctor. He might be able to convince my parents otherwise, or put me on new medicine. :)

I have a friend who also has ADHD who takes meds and has the same eating issues as you do. The problem as I see it isn't always the parents of the medication, but if you have grown so dependent on the meds to keep you calm and haven't learned to cope with your ADHD on your own, it might be very hard to be off the meds as you can't handle yourself.

As said, I've had my whole childhood to learn to deal with this.

I currently work in a cafe with my mom, during a busy day the dishes are REALLY intense, so the ADHD is quite a blessing for that!

The dependence thing is true. But ADHD meds DO mess with your sense of appetite. My doctors warn about that every time they discuss them. If I were to still take them, I'd probably end up starving myself since I already have an issue with that to begin with.
