I wasn't aware grizzly bears were ever wild in the UK, wolves, yes. As for reintroducing them, I don't know. There's more important conservation areas to focus on.

Yeah, I read that brown bears and wolves were being re-introduced in the UK which uhh... yeah brown bears are grizzly bears, and I'd love to see how self-defense comes into play when they arrive in the wild

A grizzly bear is a subspecies of the brown bear. The Common Brown Bear or Eurasian Brown Bear was the brown bear subspecies present in the UK until around 500 AD when they were killed through hunting. As for self-defence, for who? Given that hunting exterminated them once..

And no I haven't.
