I sleep about 5 hours, take off another 2 for things around my flat and I guess 2 for downtime. So, probably about 15 hours a day minimum, that can increase if needed, I've done about 3 days non-stop with only an hour nap during it.
That can't be healthy. :S

A grizzly bear is a subspecies of the brown bear. The Common Brown Bear or Eurasian Brown Bear was the brown bear subspecies present in the UK until around 500 AD when they were killed through hunting. As for self-defence, for who? Given that hunting exterminated them once..

Oh okies, always wondered because of the rare to be had connectivity problems x.x
Missed this bit. That's generally network issues which are out of my control such as DoS attacks on other servers within the centre etc, they are dealt with as soon as possible (usually within minutes). Other outages occur due to the server becoming unresponsive, something at present I'm still trying to track down as it is completely random.
Huh, then maybe it's just my internet D: Everytime I leave the IRC open for more than an hour it always says "Disconnected for inactivity" or something.

It could be the client we use does that, I connect through an external client, the IRC server itself won't disconnect you for inactivity.
Hard to answer that, I enjoy working but it is nice to sit back and take some time out now and again.

Well, actually a 403 error is triggered by a bunch of security rules set on the server to protect it from attacks. What were you attempting to change your avatar too? I have messages for your IP showing "us.pn" as being sent which is classed as a spam domain, is this the case?
I can lift the rule if needed but I don't like doing it if I don't have to.

The IP is recorded whenever a security rule is triggered, in this case the rule was an attempt to block spam websites being inserted into input fields. Obviously for some reason it triggered a false positive.

Bringing up and supporting a child isn't exactly an easy thing to do, particularly when that child lives so far away, but it's part of being a parent and for that reason I don't see anything as being hard as such. I chose to undertake it when I agreed to be his father.

The economy has been slipping for a long time and we were due another crash, the banks and building societies behind it should have know better and at no point should they have needed Government management - they just got greedy. Equally funding an unneeded war costs a lot.
The healthcare bill - I agree with. It's not perfect but being in the UK the thought of paying full price for healthcare is outrageous. The NHS heavily funds everything because we pay taxes. It's getting better and would be even more so had the Republicans let it pass entirely.
The BP disaster was one of those things. Saying Obama was responsible is just weird, he obviously went out to the oil rig and made it explode(!)

It was a fault with the rig, it's happened before. It just was so major it took time to fix. And alas Obama may be President but this is about oil. The Oil companies have the largest monopoly world wide, they make billions a year, the amount BP spent to clean up the latest spill was huge but to them it was very little. With such a monopoly, it's difficult to shut it down.
Favourite music group? Probably Kaiser Chiefs, but I listen to quite a bit.

I strongly suspect there is more "life" in the Universe than just here on Earth, whether that life is carbon-based and manifests itself like we do is going to be the main difference.
Equally, the fact that tiny differences could have resulted in nothing on Earth could easily result in no other lifeforms, although with a Universe infinitely large, it seems likely there is something.
As for flying saucers etc, I'm sceptical as I'm never seen any 100% conclusive evidence, I'm not doubting there may have been something but without some solid irrefutable proof, I remain unconvinced at this point.

It's hard to say, I enjoy(ed) both places. Given I'm here with my family, a job and a lot more potential opportunities I'd have to say I prefer it here. But, I do miss the UK as well.
Unfortunately, Canada did not contain my reasons for moving and thus was not my destination.

I don't think shrinking it is really possible, telling people what they can and can't do with their bodies and families bring up so many issues. Reducing healthcare to sick people or older people could work, but again, morally, this seems wrong.
Undoubtedly if things do not change then there will be issues but focusing on fixing these issues is what is needed rather than avoiding them. Maybe reusable rockets to Mars?!

Possibly. I think it may be the only way to ensure it's 100% but companies should be the ones spearheading such initiatives without the need for intervention. I personally cannot understand why anyone should be paid differently for the same job if their skill levels are the same.

I firmly believe that employees are the most important part of a business, they are needed and if they are happy then customers are happy. Not giving a living wage for a career-based employment just portrays that you don't care about those working for you.

Without employees, the entire functionality of any business is nonexistent, no matter how much automation we achieve, we will always need more employees to handle the automation maintenance and processes behind the scenes, more logistics employees, and more delivery drivers, etc etc and so forth.

It is likely, however, I don't really agree with it. Whilst everyone should be able to live, those jobs that are minimum wage are not there for raising a family or living comfortably, they are for learning and paying bills. If you want to go further in life you need to work for it.

A fireplace, once lit, will produce heat quickly but isn't that effective at a distance.
A base floor heater allows the heat to rise so it warms a room better but then you lose heat to the ceiling and it tends to work at a lower temperature.
A space heater is, ironically, pretty similar in that is heats a small area fast but it doesn't spread that much.

I had an Atari 3400, I believe and a Genesis and a Dreamcast, all seem older to me. I liked them all for different reasons, can't really say which was my favorite, I have replayed some of the Genesis games on an emulator and realize how fun some of those were, albeit stupid difficult at times.

I suspect thought that VR itself will be limited to games more than anything, it's (smaller and slimmer) cousin Augmented Reality on the other hand is going to explode. Already you can translate text in real time and with things like Google Glasses (RIP) and Hololens, it seems a more useful and usable technology.

Thousands of malls were built when it was a popular thing, Peoria itself has 6-ish shopping centers, with 2 of them being more mall like. One is suffering more. I think some will survive, depending on where they are and what they provide and others will have to adapt or close.
