It is a strange question to ask, but I'm hopeless.
I can think of no good name for myself (like I say... hopeless ).
now I use the letters of my names (ssdw), and I don't like it at all.
I use this name only for school and commercial goals.
I'm on this forum because I like it here, it's not for school and not to make money. That's why I want a difference name.

does anyone know a way to get a nice name? or you know even a new name? maybe you can tell how you came to the name? (some furs did this already)

My main fursona's name came from my actual name.
My other characters' names came from a baby names meanings site, looking for names that meant something related to the character's looks, personality, or abilities.

I think that it's important to come up with your own name, if you just use a name that someone else gave you, it won't be special and you won't feel an attachment to it. That said, your name doesn't have to be a name in a conventional sense, it doesn't have to be a proper name, can just be something that means a bit to you.

My fursona's name is Anoni, the story behind that is simply that it's a corruption of anonymous, that I used when joining this site to cover up my identity. However, I kind of grew to like the name and eventually gave my fursona the name of Anoni, so my name wasn't traditionally made, but I feel like it became a good name.

  Just if you find something that means something to you, then pick that as your name, but I think it's up to you to find your own name

Go to an English to Latin (Or whatever you primary language is to Latin) translator, there are lots on the web, and start entering words. Adjectives emotions or common nouns. Sometimes you can get a neat name. Words that have some significance to you are preferential that way your name will have some meaning.

I compiled a number of characters and usernames I had been using over a few years, picked out the best and arranged them.
Aoren Rekner Ilon Deringer is the result.
But there's no real way to find a name, just be creative and make sure you're happy with it. And if you're not, you can always change it!

for those how are interested, here the story.

I have thinking a lot about this (because I had nothing better to do).

when I realized that I did something while I was thinking, something I often do; dreaming (to put it so to speak).
so I use Google translator to translate dreaming to Latin. Then I get a "ALUCINOR" (mean exactly: DREAM, WANDER IN MIND, ROMANCE, TALK IDLY, GRIMACE)

I try to life a happy life, to enjoy my life as it is now.
I translate happiness and get BEATITAS (mean exactly: HAPPINESS, BLESSEDNESS, BEATITUDE, BLISS).

I try to made  one world of those two so I did beat + nor = beatnor.
I have also dyslexia so I write a lot of thing wrong, so I add a -y at the end, then I get beatnory.


beat + nor + y = Beatnory.
