Introduce Yourself / Lost furry searching for acceptance
« Last post by Lizbeth Redwood on July 30, 2025, 10:01:20 AM »
Hello to everyone,

I want to introduce me, Lizbeth Redwood, whitetail doe to the furry community.
This deer has been around for quite a long time now, but she feels rejected.

I have been on different forums now, one still active, others with deleted profiles. My doe has been rejected by quite a few people, because of her animalistic look. She's an anthropomorphic deer, with quite a long story about her. She started of a very long time ago on Furcadia, and now she discovers the world. But the world is sometimes rude to her and that makes her sad. So here she is, my little doe I'm so proud of.

I'm not new to role-playing and consider myself quite advanced, but far from inveterate player.
I'm looking for some peaceful plays, not against any more adult themed. I haven't yet found out how this forum works, what is an 'average' player meant to be capable of. I'm not native English, but do my best to write in an understandable language.

Err... I don't know what else to say...
Oh Yes, of course, any questions welcome, all good advice gratefully accepted and Lizbeth might be shy, but she normally answers to any message.

I see, spider. You want me to join bugkind. Bahahaha! XD

I'll figure out how to draw some anthro wasps. There are lots of species of wasps to choose from, lots of interesting colors. I'll progally go with something orange. One of my favorite colors.

I'll keep you and the rest of the creatures who see this post updated on my ideas.

Character detail: being a male wasp, he doesn't have a stinger. But e's quite the gender nonconformist. He has a collection of fancy decorative rapiers that he uses as stingers. Do NOT touch his swords. My swords. Are my swords. If you get a FINGERPRINT on my swords, hey. NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY SWORDS!!!

I think a wasp would be cool! Lots of lions, but bugs in general are much rarer.

General / Re: What are your Religious Beliefs?

I am reform jewish (not a zionist), and I believe in G-d, but not the way people usually think of G-d. G-d is the writing style of the universe, and They exist without a doubt. They encompass not just science, but also the theme of the universe: the meaning of life. G-d is within every aspect of the universe. The Torah should not be taken literally (even though G-d exists) and the Torah is a suggestion. Ad-nai is the one and only conscious writing style, and other religions categorize the writing style differently. Every idea of G-d exists as one and these ideas are not in conflict with one another because they all contribute to the meaning of life in a way we do not understand. Jews do not understand G-d better than anyone else either. Also, I believe G-d is conscious, but we do not know what consciousness is. Thus, we cannot tell if G-d is conscious. However, if G-d is conscious, Their mind is so foreign to a human that we cannot imagine a single thought of theirs. I find this explanation rational.

The practices of judaism are all suggestions. I don't dedicate my life to prayer because I don't believe it's worth it. Yeah, G-d exists, but we've discovered prayer does not do much. Neither does wearing a kippah. Why do these rules exist? Well, that's the next thing I need to question.

I really want to believe in G-d, if I'm being honest. I have trouble believing in Them in the traditional sense. My faith might wax and wane, and that does NOT make me feel good. In judaism, however, faith does not matter. Action is the only thing that matters. Daily affirmations...

Fun fact! I am robotkin and I have a kin-sona. However, robots do not breathe. Psalm 150:6, "let everything that has breath praise the L-rd." Thus, I gave my kin-sona a balloon lung that has psalm 150:6 written on it and a window through his chest that shows the lung. My kin-sona does not need air to survive, but he has breath, so he can praise the L-rd! Darn cool!

For most of my life, I have not believed in G-d, so I'm a little embarrassed to say all these things. I sound so religious and I'm getting self-conscious about it. :S
