Having a snake fursona just wouldn't be as fun if you had to walk around instead of slithering, so I'm making a crochet plushie! I'll update this thread with my Shane progress.

I was puzzled at first on how to make the snake heavy enough to do smooth slithering motions, but I just realized I can add weighted beads to the stuffing.

I'll probably also need some scotchgard to make Shane suitable for the outdoors.

Hey everyone, I'm Jukrit Shaman, a peaceful, traveling shaman squirrel and long-time furry fandom member!

I've been around for years, with a background in posting lots of feral art on FurAffinity and Inkbunny. Lately, I've shifted gears to world-building in Second Life. My big project right now is a beautiful, calming forest environment that I'm opening up to other furries eventually.

I’m looking forward to getting to know the forum community and connecting with people who might want to hang out in a peaceful, natural virtual space!

Rants and Advice / Accidentally trespassed in SL, now blocked everywhere - feeling confused & hurt

Hey everyone, I need to vent and maybe get some perspective on this situation. I'm new to Second Life and still learning the ropes. Recently, I found a really cool temple created by someone I've actually known about in the furry community for years. I thought it was a public space and tried to join what looked like a group for it, but it was set to private. I tried reading the group rules but didn't finish them all. Here's where I messed up: I hit a teleporter thinking that's how you'd join the group, but it took me to a private area of the parcel. The security system kept ejecting me, and I accidentally triggered it multiple times while trying to figure out what was happening. The co-owner was incredibly harsh with me about it, way more than seemed necessary for an honest mistake. Now the parcel owner has blocked me on multiple platforms, not just SL but also Furaffinity and Inkbunny. This really stings because I've followed their work for years - I even subscribed to their YouTube channel at one point. We both share an interest in squirrels and sciurids. Back in the late 90s/early 00s, I ran some well-known squirrel information websites myself. I have Asperger's, which sometimes makes it harder for me to pick up on social cues and unwritten rules, even in virtual spaces. I've tried to apologize and explain it was an innocent mistake, but being blocked everywhere means they probably won't even see it. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? How do you handle being completely shut out over what feels like a misunderstanding? I'm obviously never going near their parcel again, but the whole situation has left me feeling really discouraged about exploring SL and connecting with other furries. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.
