I want a maverick coup, that I can raise, modify to four wheel drive, twincharge (maybe just turbocharge), tweak the engine to be a bit more torquey, install a low range box and use as a rat buggy.

It's illegal for civilians to mount weapons to vehicles.
 
That said, I do want to instal a marine power source and run an electrolaser off of it. Was thinking a diode pumped garnit laser, and then, well, it's an electrolaser! Stupid name, brilliant concept.

Electrolaser uses the concept of blooming to form a then plasma filament, and then introduces an electrical current to that.
 
Kinda like (after being really simplified) shooting lightning.
