It completely alters the interaction with the "audience", the gamer. I've always felt that games are more closely related to books than movies, because they can be open for interpretation (although in a different manner)

It's strange. Because actually, now that I think about it, simpler games resemble movies LESS than complicated games.

Pac-man has almost no resemblance to a movie, but Mass Effect has a lot of resemblance to a movie. Hmm...
