Physically there is no direct relation between something good happening and something bad happening anyway.

It's all just our psychology and our preference to compare things that makes it seem that way

I did see something good in death the other day, although it hurt to think about: You no longer need to buy them presents for birthdays and such. That count?

Morbid, and in no way makes up for it; still, it is there.

Can't help with death. One of the few topics I don't really know what to say on, emotionally. I mean, obviously, analytically there's a lot to say about death, but being analytical in times like this, might not necessarily be the best idea.

I try to not read journals unless personally invited. It's a weird thing for me, especially when one considers that I view my own Journal as open to the public.

I share my thoughts but won't intrude on anyone else's even though the door is open...

I see it as blogging too,
A way to kind of just spread your ideas and influences and whats happening in your life
A way to vent, and a way to read back on specific events in your life and how that made you feel.

Indeed, and if had a journal in hard copy, I'd lose it. Soft copy, my computer would crash, it's on the interwebs now!
