I can remember individual words and some phrases in both French and Spanish but I can't speak either of them fluently at all. In high school, it was required to take a language either one or two years (can't remember which, probably just one year). My first three years of high school the languages available were French and Russian, then it changed to Spanish and Russian my senior year because the teacher changed.

"He drives the car"
Or
"The car drives him"
