A lot of things can distract from pain. I swear but I wish I didn't and I try not to...maybe someday I won't do it all if I train myself enough. Whoever came up with swear words was an idiot.

none of the curse words in the world actually started as wrong, when people thought of these words or expressions, they would have been socially accepted but over time peoples values changed and these words became wrong in the context they were being used in.

Problem is, adults laugh when little kids say swears so the kid learns that it's funny and think that it's okay for them to do too.

i try not to swear around kids... but a few do slip... other than that, when you've grown up around people that swear a lot, it's kind of a hard habit to break
