Thats why a package will land behind you in 5... 4.... 3.... 2....

*a crate slams into the ground, going three inches in while retaining shape, inside are modern khukri knives*

Theres a slot for poison 'glands', which are in the hilt, but the glands themselves are at the bottom of the crate...
