It's not good! You have to learn to ease yourself, it's like running a marathon.

Going as fast as you can, all the time, is a bad strategy, you'll get tired and ultimately you'll slow down about half way through the race. The trick is to keep a steady pace, a balance of speed and relaxation, so is every work effort in life, including drawing art.

I don't speed draw ... It takes me around 3h with every drawing ... I get stuck with 1 for few days also ... I just can't stop until It's finished ... I can't have unfinished art ... I just can't ... And that is why I failed at drawing Bob's dragon

Nah, nah, I didn't mean it as speed, I meant it as exertion. You can't exert yourself full throttle and expect to succeed, it's not good! You need to take breaks and relax.

I can only draw when I'm ready. I might think about something for weeks then draw it in 5 minutes, then fuss with it for days on and off.


I hate unfinished too.  But I just have to get over it :/
