I bought a fox tail from the renaissance festival and recently I have started wearing it around in public. I've even worn it to my high school. My question is this, is it wrong or stupid that I do? I've kind of made it a normal part of the way I dress. and does anyone else wear a tail? I didn't know who else to ask.

i dont but frankly i've worn some weird things in my time. I look back on those days and think I was an idiot, but I'm glad I did it at all. It got me more to express myself than i did before.

Wear whatever you want.

Wearing a tail in a professional situation, like a job interview, I hope would obviously be a bad idea. But it's just high school.

I've always wanted a tail!!!

But anyways, i kinda agree with Zeph... If i'll ever get my own tail (WHICH I WANT SO BADLY) i'd probably only wear it when im home, and not in public... or atleast i would hide it if im in public...

Wear what you want, I always have. But you should never wear something unless you're prepared to be stared at, laughed at or having cruel words said to you, I say this from personal experience, I have some stuff that would probably fit in an animé convention, and sometimes its hard if you get judged cruelly because of it. Some people (well a lot) don't take to such difference kindly, just a warning.

If you can take that, you should do it! I'll be rooting for you! In all opinions, keep it out of professional situations like Zeph said. I think seeing a person walk round with a tail on would be cute.

I'd say go for it. Wear what you want where ever you want. But like Xleena and Zeph, yeah, expect some feedback and be prepared to take it. I'm sure you know all about high school drama and all that. Definitely don't wear one in an interview. xD

I don't wear tails per se. But I have worn bizzare things in public before to be funny. If you don't care of what others think of you then what's going to stop you? Have fun.

I disagree to a point. Yea, you should express youself and whatnot, but don't go overboard with it. A tail for me would be pushing it a bit, so I wear a collar to school. The point is to be diffrent and maybe get a few questions and whatever. Its ultimatly your choice, because well, its you. So don't get miffed, k? Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The biggest response I get is giggles and alot of questions, which is fine by me

I might post a picture of me wearing it tomarrow.

@ShadoWolf800..... To each their own I guess. I think wearing a collar is more overboard then a tail though.

In my freshman year I use to wear my collar all the time.
Most people thought it was pretty cool, others just asked why.
I was known as: "The collar girl."

Nah, Your representing who you are and what you like, and if anyone has anything to say about it, then their just afraid to represent who they truely are, here ive got a good story.

Last year on halloween I wore the Assassins creed outfit to school, friends were down with it, random people and teachers? No, but I didnt care.

I don't think it's stupid, or wrong... unless it's a really a fox tail.
I have issues when people steal from other animals.
but, I think it's cool that you wear it everywhere, you're breaking away from the normal, which is a good thing.
(It would really make sense if you see the way I dress)

i go to a supremely redneck school so its really fun to wear 'weird' stuff .... im glad i can fend for myself though... just saying it has come in handy btw waiting for pic lolz
