Just like the title says I'm thinking on making a wolf tail. I have been look around for plans and I'm gonna get some supplies and have my mom make it with me. I'll post some pictures of it when I get it done.

Good plan. I was thinking about doing that at one point, but then I found this person on eBay who makes custom tail and ears sets.
She actually makes them with wire in the tail so that it moves with your body and doesn't just lay there limply.

But anyways, good luck with it.
I'll probably make some "paw"warmers at some point.

yeah I could buy them but usually they are way overpriced and my mom is good at sewing and stuff so we should be able to make a good one on our own for a much cheaper price. I found these really good plans though that if followed correctly should make a pretty sweet tail http://wolfden.critter.net/fursuits/constrctn/tail.htm .

Update: I just stopped by the fabric store and I bought some good fur that should make a pretty good wolf tail

However, my mom is busy and wont be able to help me make it until saturday. I hope to update this again with the picture of the tail when it is done in about 3 days.

Well, a feline's tail is more slender. It depends on the feline though.
Look at pictures of the kind of feline that you are (I know you're a cat, but there are many types of cats with different tails). Then you'll be able to see how it should look and how thick it should be and the shape and all that. :)

cool... i suppose im a "Felis silvestris" (slovakian wildcat, oh the wonders of wiki) because ive actually seen one while hiking!  ^_^

and obviously they have thicker fur due to colder climate... so... probably quite a thick tail... except their tail tapers of at the end, thinner than a wolf.. anyway thanks for the help vee... and looking great moon!  :3
