So I had this idea for a possible RP. It stuck me last night to make an RP set on mafia furs. It is set in the 1940s or 1980s in New York City. Five Families, all kings of organized crime in the city, are allied for the diffrent connections that each one possesses (the police, garbage disposal, governement, etc.) so that they have the ablilty to run the city. These Five Families are run by the Dons who make every move. Each family respects eachother, and together form a bond called The Commission. But each family would like to believe that they are "quietly" suprior to one another. As the Commission fight in the struggle to gain control over the city, I got New York's finest (including the token rookie cop with the unorthodox partner trying to take on the entire crime syndicate with the help of bending rules and means of gathering evidence) trying to bring down the Five Families once and for all. I was hoping to have this include the exciting parts like the dirty extortion, wars, gambling, murder, narcotics, kidnapping, etc. BUT at the same time, I don't know how to carry all of this out in kosher manner for the forum rules, so any help around this would be appreciated. Also, I was wondering whether to put this in serious or fun RP if I ever do end up starting it. Suggestions or comments?
